Landscape Workshop with Joseph McGurl

Workshop Focus: This workshop will be a combination of demonstration by Joe and plein air painting by the participants. As the class will be limited to 12 participants, there will be plenty of group and individual instruction. Some of the issues that will be addressed via lecture and demonstration will be composition, color, value, drawing, creating atmospheric perspective, and creating texture. I will also demonstrate the sight-size method of painting adapted to painting landscapes.
