The Boston Harbor Islands Project

Here is another view of Prince Head on Peddocks Island.  With a tidal range of 9.5 feet, life in the harbor revolves around the height of the tide, and the harbor takes on a completely different character with the rise and fall of the water.  At low tide, this cove is completely dry with the rocky seafloor exposed.
